Cardamom plantation management in Idukki Zone A.
Hand your plantation to a 2nd-generation operator. ₹4,50,000 / acre / year. Soil-test driven. End-to-end. 600–1,100 kg/acre managed yield against an Idukki regional average of 200–300 kg.
Second-generation cardamom operators.
Erthiq runs cardamom in the second generation. The skilled labour network, the soil-and-pathogen instinct, the auction relationships — these aren't bought, they're built. The focus isn't just keeping a plantation alive: it's extracting yield from it. Methodology is consistent across every plantation we touch — soil-test driven inputs, structured seasonal practices, a dedicated manager, periodic reports.
Yield benchmark reflects recent harvest seasons on Erthiq-managed plots. Past yields don't guarantee future results. Idukki regional yield estimate per Spices Board of India and ICAR-IIHR field data.
Everything taken care of. Year-round.
The ₹4,50,000 / acre / year fee covers everything below. No surprise add-ons during the operational year.
Infrastructure improvements — water source upgrades, fencing, plant replacement, electricity installation — are quoted separately as one-time costs because they vary by plantation and aren't part of the annual operating fee.
How we manage to high yield.
Regular soil testing
Soil tests are done on a regular cadence to identify nutrient gaps, pH, and pathogen pressure. Results drive every fertiliser and crop-protection choice — no random inputs.
Targeted inputs + seasonal practices
Fertilisers and medicines are matched to soil-test results. Mulching, drenching, cleaning, and shade tree maintenance run on the seasonal calendar. Dedicated estate manager oversees every operation.
Harvest, dry, auction
Harvesting runs through 6 cycles. Curing, drying, and lot preparation are done on-site. Lots are sold at Spices Board of India regulated auctions in Bodinayakkanur and Vandanmedu.

Everything about Erthiq Care
What is Erthiq Care and what does it include?
Erthiq Care is end-to-end cardamom plantation management for plantation owners in Idukki Zone A. It covers fertilisers and crop protection (driven by regular soil testing), daily labour with transport and food, drenching, mulching, cleaning, shade tree maintenance, pest and disease control, harvesting across the 6-cycle season, curing, drying, lot preparation, and Spices Board auction handling. A dedicated estate manager is assigned to your plantation, and you receive periodic yield reports, plantation health reports, and work updates throughout the year.
How much does it cost?
Erthiq Care is ₹4,50,000 per acre per year, invoiced before each year begins and renewed annually. This covers all operational costs above (labour, inputs, equipment, manager, reporting). Infrastructure improvements — water source upgrades, fencing, plant replacement, electricity installation, etc. — are quoted separately as one-time costs because they vary by plantation and are not part of the annual operating fee.
Where do you operate? Will you take my plantation outside Zone A?
Erthiq Care is offered only in Idukki Zone A — Udumbanchola, Vandanmedu, Anakkara, and surrounding Zone A villages at 800–1200m elevation. We focus exclusively on Zone A because lower-elevation Idukki areas have higher humidity, stronger winds, and significantly lower yield consistency. Operating outside Zone A would compromise the yield benchmark we manage to.
Who is Erthiq Care for?
Cardamom plantation owners in Idukki Zone A who don't have the time, the skilled labour network, or the technical experience to extract high yield from their land. Typical clients include resident Indian owners who inherited plantations, NRI owners who own plantation but live abroad, professionals whose primary work is in another field, and partial-management plantations where the current approach (self, family, or contractor) isn't delivering. Erthiq Care is also bundled mandatorily with our Rental Plantation and Acre Lease products, and is optionally available post-purchase for Buy Plantation holders.
What yield can I expect?
Erthiq Care managed plots typically yield 600–1,100 kg/acre of dry cardamom per year, against an Idukki regional average of roughly 200–300 kg/acre. This benchmark reflects our recent harvest seasons on Erthiq-managed land. Yields vary by plant age, plantation condition, weather, and Spices Board auction-cycle factors — past yields do not guarantee future results. We commit to the methodology (soil-test driven inputs, second-generation operator expertise, skilled labour, structured reporting) rather than to a specific yield number.
How do I get started?
Submit the enquiry form on this page with your plantation village, size, and current management state. Our team contacts you within 48 hours to schedule a site visit. During the visit our manager and a senior team member assess the plantation and produce a transition plan covering: soil and plant health baseline, infrastructure status, labour requirements, and the operational handover timeline. After the site visit you receive a written proposal. On signing, Erthiq Care begins from the next operational cycle. Year-one invoicing is from the agreement date.

Important note on yield
We do not promise specific yield quantities. Cardamom output depends on plantation condition, weather, pest pressure, monsoon timing, and other natural factors beyond our control. Erthiq Care commits to methodology — soil-test driven inputs, structured seasonal operations, a dedicated estate manager, and periodic reporting — and to the operating discipline that consistently delivers above-average yields on Erthiq-managed land. Past yields do not guarantee future results.
